Husky Oil Well Recovery (CA)

60 m deep freeze, 4.2 m diameter shaft x 7.2 m freeze circle.

Shaft maintenance and roadheader work.

Underground rehabilitation, work of existing tunnels and development for new mining areas.

Development of 3,000 ft of new drift and 10,000 ft of rehabilitation work. Design and installation of ventilation airlock system and ore chute.

In 2009 Thyssen Mining was asked to help consult with block caving operations during the pre production period at Newgold’s New Afton Mine.

3,100 ft of tunnel excavation for flood water bypass.

Excavation of 1 M barrel underground cavern for storage of liquid butane.

Excavation of 31,000 ft of lateral development and 7,000 ft of underground raisebore work.
