Thyssen Mining was the major contractor for the development of the Goldrush Twin Declines. Twin parallel declines were constructed to access a new deposit. Specifications called for two 18ft x 18ft modified arch profile drifts to be driven 62 feet apart for 13,000 feet each at a -3.7% decline.
